And the Beet Goes On...

Theo is thoroughly enjoying his invasion into the world of vegetables. Yesterday, he conquered Beets before moving to the land of sleep.

May God have mercy on whoever changes this diaper.

One Year Older

Saturday, we met our friends Sido, Albin, Claire and Phil at Auberge Rabelais to celebrate my birthday. We enjoyed a great dinner in between champagne, wine and the generous presents. Afterwards, Anne-Laure and I decided to hit the Rambler where we stayed until closing (go figure).

Les Enfoirés

Last night, Anne-Laure and I went to the Les Enfoirés, a concert where the proceeds go to the Les Restos du Cœur charity. The concert was great, though a few people around us became sick. (Heat? Alcohol?)

The Great Gatsby

1992 - 2006
"One who possessed beauty without vanity, strength without insolence, courage without ferocity, and all the virtues of man, without his vices. This praise would be unmeaning flattery if inscribed over human ashes, is but a just tribute to the memory of my dog."
- Lord Byron

Bon Appétit!

Theo tried "real food" this past weekend. His menu consisted of steamed apples, carrots and green beans. The first attempt at apples wasn't well received (click here to download the video), however he absolutely loved the rest...both inside the mouth and out.

The Return of Gran & Granddad

My parents were in town last week for a few days to see Theo (and Anne-Laure and me). Of the two parties, I'm not sure which one had the most fun. Theo enjoyed sharing his toys with Granddad and reading stories with Gran. The grandparents took pleasure in changing diapers, making bottles and pursuing the (almost) unattainable goal of getting Theo to sleep.

They left on Wednesday. Though it is never easy to see them go, the word goodbye is becoming more difficult to say each time.
