La Fête des Lumière

Yesterday was "la Fête des Lumière" in Lyon. Thousands of candles illuminate the city every 8th of December. The festival is to pay hommage to the Virgin Mary for whom it is believed saved the town from the Black Plague in 1643. This is a shot from our terrace.
